Dreams are manifestations of emotions, even if their form is unclear#

Have you ever woken up with a lingering sense of confusion because you just experienced a series of completely random dreams, yet they felt incredibly real?

Last night, my subconscious took me on a wild journey through three different worlds. At first, I thought they were just meaningless fragments of sleep. But after some reflection, I realized these three dream sequences were actually a very honest reflection of my inner self right now.

If we consider them odd or important, we will most likely remember them, but if we ignore them, they will obviously be forgotten. (reflection and unreflection)

Here is how the story goes.

Chapter 1: The Warmth and Freedom of the Hot Springs#

The story began in a public hot spring with a mixed-gender concept. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, filled with a soft mist rising from the warm water. There I was, soaking and unwinding alongside a male friend and a woman I don’t actually know in real life.

Shortly after, we moved to the rinsing area. Interestingly, the showers were only separated by thin plywood partitions. There was no awkwardness at all. Instead, the room was filled with lighthearted laughter and cheerful banter. The woman next to me showed a clear interest, and I responded with a friendly, playful touch. In this phase, I felt an overwhelming sense of emotional freedom and connection—a space where I could completely be myself without fear of judgment.

Chapter 2: The Crocodile in the Crystal-Clear River#

However, that comfort abruptly collapsed as the dream setting shifted. I suddenly found myself walking down a steep hillside. Down below, a river flowed with crystal-clear water. By the riverbank, two locals were busy cutting bamboo stalks.

My intention was to cross that river entirely on my own—no bridge, no help from anyone. But as I drew closer and looked into the pristine water, I froze. Beneath the beautiful, transparent surface, I could clearly see a massive crocodile and several jumbo-sized reptiles lurking, waiting. There was a hidden danger beneath something that looked so inviting. I was paralyzed by doubt: Should I recklessly cross, or should I turn back?

Chapter 3: The Crowded Room and Losing Control#

Before I could even make a decision, the dream shifted into a state of sheer, vivid panic. I suddenly found myself in the middle of a massive crowd, and my stomach violently cramped. I desperately needed to use the bathroom.

The sensation was so agonizingly real, pushing me to the absolute limit—to the point where it felt like I was about to have an embarrassing accident right then and there. Surrounded by a sea of people, I panicked completely, trying with all my might to hold it in, terrified of being judged and making a total fool of myself. The sheer terror of losing control over my own body in public woke me up, gasping for air.

The Core Message#

After reflecting on how the dream evolved—from the carefree joy of the hot springs to the sheer panic in the crowd—I realized a profound truth about what is happening in my life right now:

“Whenever we have a strong desire to break free and grow (Dream 1), we will inevitably face lurking risks or deep-seated fears along the way (Dream 2). The friction between our desire to move forward and our fear of failure is what ultimately triggers the anxiety of losing control in front of others (Dream 3).”

This dream is a wakeup call from my inner self, reminding me that I am currently facing a major life decision or transition. It is completely natural to feel afraid and doubtful. The key isn’t to avoid the “crocodiles” in our path or to bottle up our pressure until we explode—but rather to recognize when to tread carefully and when to make peace with our own anxieties.

How about you? What is the strangest dream that ever exposed your current state of mind?
